Save projects, patterns, controls, global settings, and user scales to a file on this computer. Use normal operation mode and stop playback first.
The backup excludes firmware, factory calibration, and undocumented storage. Keep the device idle until capture finishes.
02 / INSTALL FIRMWARE
A new chapter.
Choose your firmware file, then start the SQ-64 in update mode by holding GLOBAL + PATTERN while powering on.
Download Korg 2.03 firmware ZIP · Extract the .VSB file before selecting it.
Checksums detect damage; they do not prove that custom firmware works. Interrupted flash programming can prevent USB recovery.
02 / RESTORE YOUR WORK
Pick up where you left off.
Restore a backup created here. Included projects and settings overwrite matching device slots. Slots recorded as empty are left unchanged.
Use normal operation mode. After restoring, inspect projects and save/restart as appropriate. Device acknowledgements alone do not verify persistence.
